HOW IT WORKS
Once you've been prescribed to NeuroShield glasses at your local hospital/clinic, your glasses will be personalized by testing your specific brain waves hen experiencing opioid craving. This will work by showing a picture of an opioid or something similar and recording your distinct brain waves with EEG technology.
The rTMS transmitter is a small device with a magnet and coil that will be placed on the temples. The EEG will signal to the transmitter whether you need more or less intense electrical pulses to neutralize the neurons that caused your craving, based on what was decided during testing.
The EEG will also be placed on the nose bridge to detect abnormal brain activity, and on both sides of the glasses (temples) for accuracy.
You may then customize the glasses by adjusting lenses to fit prescriptions, block blue light, or UV light protection (sunglasses). It can also be a combination of two or more.

How it works
A BETTER PATH TO RECOVERY
We are developing glasses to stop opioid addiction by combining EEG and rTMS technology. The EEG technology detects the craving for drugs through electrodes, while the rTMS sends electrical pulses into the brain to neutralize the neurons that cause addiction.
Our solution allows us to determine when to send out different pulses based on personalized parameters. This revolutionary approach could help solve the opioid epidemic without relying on traditional rehabilitation methods.
